How dangerous is it to stray from the path, and who is it dangerous for? The nurturing family and community of the wolf pack is set against the dangers of the big bad wolf, in a world that sways between littered and tidied, wild and domesticated.

Performed by an intergenerational cast including older performers, teenagers and children, Wolves explores moral guidance given across generations, from morality tales told throughout history to cautionary tales of the present day.

The Beacon’s Platinum Project 60+ dance group will work alongside Glasgow’s intergenerational cast in the performance of Wolves by Barrowland Ballet. There will also be a curtain raiser from two local Inverclyde schools who have been exploring the theme from Wolves and working with the Beacon dance team to create new choreographies.
