Stainer's Crucifixion 'The Octet' Spring Concert
Spring has arrived and ‘The Octet’ reflect upon the Easter story as they present Sir. John Stainers meditation; ‘The Crucifixion’.

In the beautiful setting of the Georgian Church - St. Swithins, this Victorian style cantata provokes thoughts and images through the libretto of William Sparrow-Simpson and the music of Sir. John Stainer. This meditation draws upon the Easter story reflecting upon the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

The Octet is an exceptional Chamber Choir consisting of students at Bath Spa University. The Octet, under the direction of their Musical Director Mr. Daniel Robert Cushing aim to promote and perform Choral Music at its finest level.

Their performance promises to be a mesmerising evening.

Tenor – Richard Robert Hall, A superb Tenor, studying Music at Bath Spa University.
Bass – Asher Randall, An exceptional Chorister that sings in Bath Abbey Choir.
